Jost van Dyke

Pilates Elementals

Jost has been a Pilates trainer with over 18 years experience teaching individuals of all ages and fitness levels. He is certified as a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (200RYT), with additional certification in Aerial Yoga.

Jost's professional Pilates experience in the Tallahassee fitness community  includes being an instructor/trainer at Premier Health & Fitness, Legends/Impact Fitness, Journeys in Yoga Studio, Art of the Catwalk  Studio, Yoga Dog Studio Quincy – and, at his private studio, Studio  Endorphilates.

In addition to teaching at Abundance Wellness Center, Jost continues to hold classes at The Capitol/Pepper Building (where he's taught classes since 2007) – he also offers private & semi-private sessions with clients in their homes.

Lorinne Myatt

Lorinne, has been a certified Zumba instructor since Aug 2011 and loves teaching. When she first found Zumba in 2007, it was transformative, not just as a physical practice but as a personal practice that left her feeling strong, sexy, happy, and alive. This is what inspired her to begin leading her own Zumba classes, calling them “ZumbaMamis”.

As a longtime ACE-certified personal trainer she makes sure all moves are effective and safe, as well as fun and energizing using a fantastic selection of music with a variety of rhythms.

The hour includes a warm up, great interval training, a good cool down, and ends with a genuine head to toe stretch that will leave you totally blissed out.

Lisa Whiting is a physical therapist with over 25 years of clinical  experience who has devoted the last 15 years of her career to pelvic  health physical therapy. In addition to working at a local physical  therapy clinic, Lisa is the owner of Full Circle Pelvic Health LLC,  which offers childbirth preparation classes that focus on pelvic health. In her spare time she loves dancing, gardening, visiting the mountains, and spending time with friends and family.


Birth-Ready Body Series

This four-session series will help you prepare your body for your upcoming birth. Learn how to thrive in pregnancy with fewer aches and pains, as well as prepare your pelvic floor for the monumental task of childbirth.

Meg Wandell is a Registered Yoga Teacher (200-RYT since 2015) and Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (85-PYT since 2022) with the Yoga Alliance. She has additional training in postnatal yoga, trauma-informed yoga through Street Yoga©, and has worked with a variety of populations, from at-risk youth to the fitness-focused yogi. She received her Master of Science in Art Therapy from Florida State University in 2018 with a research focus on proactive mental health strategies. Meg has brought two of her own children into the world in 2023 and 2024 and wants to share the benefits of prenatal & postnatal yoga with others.

Rachel Brooks, LMT, RYT

Rachel Brooks is a Registered Yoga Teacher (200RYT) and a Licensed Massage Therapist (Core Institute 2006) with over 20 years of experience in bodywork. Her approach to yoga focuses on the mind-body connection -guiding you through a practice of connecting your breaths to your movements, turning your attention within to perceive sensations that you may otherwise miss and helping you to find a better balance across all the parts of yourself, whatever that looks like for you.

Rachel has been a life-long student of the mind and body and how they  interact, studying philosophies of yoga, meditation and self-awareness,  and earning a B.S. in Psychology with a focus on Behavioral Neuroscience  Science at UNF in 2020. Ultimately, she seeks knowledge in order to help herself and others know themselves more fully through the experience of body, through the mastery of movement, and the development of internal listening.

Debra Hale

Debra Hale was certified in Viniyoga in 2009 by the American Viniyoga  Institute, after a two-year long training with Gary Kraftsow. Since then, she has taught yoga in Tallahassee at the Abundance Wellness Center, Namaste, and Florida State University as well as online. She continues study with mentor Diane Roberts, Yoga Therapist, Teacher and Director of Foundation Yoga and Wellness in Solana Beach, CA. Deb is also a Voice Production Specialist and was on the faculty at FSU in the Theatre Department for 20 years teaching Linklater Voice in the BFA Acting Program. She has taught workshops combining voice, healing, and body alignment practices for actors in several countries throughout her career.  She also continues to teach from her private studio, Authentic Voice (wwwdebhalevoice.com), and does Yoga/Voice workshops in Tallahassee and San Diego.

Lee Nettles

Active Isolated Stretching (AIS)

Lee Nettles is in his 60s. He works two restaurant jobs. And he is a skateboarder, mountain border, mountain biker, and works out at the gym. About 10 years  ago, Lee was searching for a way to become more flexible. And he discovered Active Isolated Stretching (AIS). Lee noticed an immediate improvement in everything he was doing. He was getting stronger and more flexible, and his recovery time was much faster. All from AIS. Lee wants everyone to discover how fantastic you can feel with AIS IN YOUR  LIFE! IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU ARE IN YOUR TEENS OR YOUR 90S, AIS WILL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE GETTING OUT THERE AND ENJOYING LIFE.
