Kimberly Christian, LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), is passionate about helping people find hope and healing through individual therapy.

 

She has over seven years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from varied backgrounds and cultures. She also has additional experience working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma and much of that time has been working with survivors of sexual abuse/assault. Her goal is to help individuals process their experiences and reach adaptive and healthy resolutions so they can face the future with confidence.

 

She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has observed it to be the most successful treatment for clients who have experienced trauma. She also has experience working with Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is certified in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Adoption Competency.
