As part of her national and local
efforts with the campaign to establish a United States Department of
Peace, Dr. Cindy Bigbie has been learning Marshall Rosenberg's
Non-Violent Communication (NVC) process. She has found this process to
be one of the most tangible ways to make "peace" a concrete part of
every day and every interaction. As part of her three-year journey to
learn NVC, Cindy studied with Marshall Rosenberg this past November in
his Intensive Training, and she continues to expand her NVC know-how
through ongoing training. Last spring, she offered an elective-based
course at Rickards High School to a group of high school students over
the course of four months,and this experience allowed her to hone her
NVC knowledge and work on skills daily as well as learn ways to share
the NVC process with others. She is excited to offer this 6-week
workshop on NVC to contribute to the well-being of individuals and our
Tallahassee community as a whole.
Classes are from 6:30- 8:30 pm. Cost of workshop is
$120.00 if registered and paid by May 1, 2011. ________________________________________________________________________________
